andy fidoten is a New York filmmaker, former punk, and proud transsexual. His short films have screened at MoMA, the London Short Film Festival, and Final Girls Berlin. Before turning to film, he toured the country with T-Rextasy, a feminist rock outfit written up in The New York Times and Pitchfork.

His debut feature, SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME — executive produced by Lilly Wachowski's Anarchists United — premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival in the Viewpoints section and had its West Coast premiere at Frameline's 50th. It kicks off Outfest NEXT this month.
